Hussey-Cook Hiking Club

In the fall of 2003, the Hussey's (Paul, Trina, Drew, and Erin) and the Cook's (Larry, Brigitte, Maggie and Abby) took a 3 mile round-trip hike to Champney Falls. That winter, the two families decided to form their hiking club.

As a motivater, hiking all 48 of the New Hampshire 4,000 footers over the next eight years was selected as the goal. Eight years was selected as the deadline because the fall of the eighth year (2011) is when Maggie, the oldest child, would start college.
